Superdrug Brightening Hot Cloth Cleanser

Superdrug Brightening Hot Cloth Cleanser  - £5.99

I got this on a bit of a whim to be honest, I saw it and it was on offer (I think it was £2.99 on offer and £5.99 usually), it was hard to say no! I've not picked up a hot cloth cleanser since the No7 one I had reacted badly with my skin and just didn't really do much at all.

I have to say that I'm really impressed with this cleanser. For less than £6 I don't think you can go wrong. It's thick, creamy, and really gets all the dirt and rubbish off my face. I have a little gripe with the smell, I was hoping it would be fruiter, as it has kiwi in it, but it's quite a spicy-nothing smell. It reminds me a bit of my Nan's house, which is not something I'd want to associate with a cleanser!

This also comes with a muslin cloth, which is of course handy! It's really nice quality for the price and washes really nicely too. I don't think that it quite 'awakened my skins natural glow', but I'm a damn sight cleaner!

It's also paraben and crutely free, which is a great thing to see for Superdrug (and for £6!). So aside from the smell, I really like this cleanser and it's a decent, cheaper, alternative to some others (I'm looking at you No7!)

  4. I considered buying this today as a replacement for my Liz Earle cleanser (since I'm skint). I'll need to buy it at some point.
