The Liebster Blog Awards is awarded to bloggers, by bloggers. It helps spread the word about blogs with less than 200 followers and it's a brilliant way to find new faces! I'm really excited to have been nominated by Katie!
The Rules:
Each person tagged must post 11 things about themselves.

11 things about me:
1. I really like heavy metal/rock/hard rock music, which some people are surprised by!
2. I've never had a pet, my mum would never let us have one :(
3. I almost did an art degree, but I'm currently in the third year of my English Language and New Media Publishing degree.
4. I'm the tidiest person out of my housemates (I rent a house with three other girls) and I always get annoyed when people leave a mess!
5. I'm 5ft 11inches (basically a giraffe in a leather jacket).
6. Until I was 15 I couldn't successfully put my hair up in a pony tail, let alone apply makeup!
7. I used to pretend I was Avril Lavigne and I had a matching outfit to hers in the Sk8r Boi video (massive cringe at that!)
8. I drink so much tea that I think I'm actually turning in to a teabag....
9. I've never broken a bone or even been admitted to hospital.
10. At school my nickname was 'Lanky Larry'.
11. Most of the items in my bedroom are purple, even though my favourite colour is greeeeeen.

1. Who is your style icon? I don't really think I have one, I normally just flick through magazines/stalk people in the street and steal their ideas.
2. Which season is your favourite? Spring, because it's when everything starts coming back to life again and the promise of Summer is just around the corner.
3. Why did you decide to start a blog? I've had blogs before (all deleted and gone now) and it seemed like the right time to start one up again.
4. Do you have a favourite colour to wear? Hah, black? Does that count?
5. How many countries have you visited? I'd estimate about three, I've been to America (NYC), France and Ireland a lot.
6. What is your dream job? I'm not really sure, I'd love to work in the 'media' but I'm not totally set on anything.
7. Current song that you can't get out of your head? Radio - Lana Del Ray, so much for my metal head status!
8. Morning or night? Oh night, sod the mornings!
9. What is your favourite item of make up? Erm, mascara, maybe eyeliner. Anyway, without either of them I'd look like a zombie.
10. What is your favourite comfort food? Everything! I keep on buying (and eating) McCoys Crisps at the moment.
11. Which artist/band is your guilty pleasure? I'm going to be really specific here and say that my guilty pleasure song is Whiskey in the Jar by Metallica.

DeleteI like metal too, people are always surprised by that because of the blonde hair and pink clothes but I have a Slipknot tattoo on my right hip! Great to see that you've also been to my Emerald Isle of Ireland, hope you liked it. Hope you're successful with the awards! Good luck! xo
